Privacy policy

This page describes the tools Libertatis Venezuela currently uses on the public site. There are no user accounts or login system.

Google Analytics 4

The site loads Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure general use. Google may receive technical and navigation data such as device and browser information, pages visited and the network address used to connect, and may use its own cookies or related technologies. Retention depends on the provider’s settings and policies; this page does not state a period that cannot be verified from the repository.

Site-defined events

The site analytics layer may send GA4 navigation-click events; related article impressions; search result count and page; and aggregate reading signals such as reaching 50% or 90% of an article or meeting the active reading threshold. Some article events include the public content slug and language.

A reader’s raw search query is not included as a parameter in the custom search event. The site does not intentionally send fields that classify a reader by ideology or political interest. GA4 still receives basic page navigation according to its operation, including the visited URL.

Local browser storage

The browser stores the light or dark theme preference locally. Learning also uses localStorage to retain progress, reading state and exercise responses in that browser. The current code does not create an account or send that local record to a Libertatis backend. Clearing site data in the browser removes that local progress.

Contact and external services

The site has no first-party contact form. If a reader uses amailto: link, their email service handles the name, address and message content they choose to send; Libertatis receives it to reply. The site also links to TikTok and other external sources, which apply their own policies when visited.
